Somatic Stress Release Introductory Practices

Spend 90-minutes learning about and practicing Somatic Stress Release. We will begin to engage with the stress response cycle identifying activation, practicing mobilization, noticing de-activation and experiencing restoration. You will leave with a number of new tools to use in your daily practice. Whether you are just returning to your body and feelings or have an ever growing practice of self-resourcing techniques and practices, you can engage with the workshop from where you are in this moment.

To Prepare: You will need 2-3 pieces of paper, a writing utensil, a room where you can easily move around, a device with a camera (so I can see you), pillows and blankets (at least one of each). Optional- yoga mat
